Monthly Socials
At Rotaract North Pinellas, we believe that connection fuels community—and our monthly socials are one of the best ways to build those bonds.
Each month, we host a creative, fully social gathering on a different day, giving members and guests the chance to connect outside of meetings and service projects. No agenda—just fun, friendship, and new experiences around North Pinellas.
Our socials are always evolving. One month might feature a board game night at Queen’s Pizza, another could be trivia and tacos by the waterfront, or a casual brewery hangout in Dunedin or Clearwater. We’ve also done things like beach bonfires, holiday parties, and collaborative events with other local young professional groups.
These events are designed to be welcoming, low-cost, and engaging for both longtime members and first-time guests. Whether you’re here to deepen friendships, explore new places, or just unwind, there’s always something fresh to enjoy.

Monthly Meetings
Each month, Rotaract North Pinellas hosts a vibrant meeting featuring engaging guest speakers on topics that spark curiosity, professional growth, and meaningful discussion. Past presentations have included inspiring themes such as happiness and well-being, community building, leadership development, reflections on 9/11, and the art of effective communication. Looking ahead, our upcoming speaker series promises fresh perspectives from a diverse group—personal finance experts for young adults, triathletes, astronauts, and up and coming young entrepreneurs. Every session invites Q&A and member interaction, creating a welcoming space for learning and dialogue. These monthly programs play a key part in our ongoing commitment to continuous education through workshops and guest speakers, helping members develop essential skills and stay informed about issues that matter right here in North Pinellas.
Rotary Distirct 6950 – Conferences, Trainings, Cruises and Galas
Rotary District 6950, serving Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Pinellas counties encompasses 48 Rotary clubs and approximately 1,900 dedicated Rotarians committed to community service, leadership development, and fun. Through district-sponsored initiatives like the District Training Assembly, District Conference, Foundation Gala, and large-scale, multiclub service projects, members gain valuable training, network across clubs, and collaborate on impactful humanitarian work. We are actively engaged in these opportunities, participating in zone-level training, district assemblies, and regional events alongside Rotary clubs, enabling Rotaractors to sharpen leadership skills, exchange ideas, and co-organize vibrant service and networking events with their Rotarian peers. These structured interactions build strong links between Rotaract and Rotary within District 6950, fostering mentorship, collaborative planning, shared service projects, and deeper engagement—solidifying Rotaract’s place as a valued partner and voice in the district’s broader mission.
MDIO – Ascension Rotaract
At Rotaract North Pinellas, we’re proud to partner with the Ascension Rotaract Network, a dynamic multi‑district hub that connects Rotaract and Rotary members across Zones 28–34, including the eastern U.S. and the Caribbean. Through their pillars of mentorship, connection, and education, Ascension Rotaract empowers Rotaractors and Rotary partners with professional guidance, leadership training, and inspiring service opportunities—all rooted in the Rotary value of “Service Above Self” By joining forces with Ascension, Rotaract North Pinellas gains access to webinars, virtual assemblies, regional leadership summits, and a wider network of clubs and districts to collaborate on meaningful projects and grow together as community leaders.
Rotary International Convention
The Rotary International Convention is Rotary’s largest annual gathering—a vibrant, global celebration where people of action from over 120 countries unite to explore ideas, forge collaborations, and amplify service above self. The 2025 edition, held in Calgary, Canada from June 21–25, carried the theme “Magic All Around,” drawing more than 15,000 delegates together in a spectacular setting against the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies. Attendees engaged with inspiring keynote speakers like Academy Award–winner Geena Davis, Nobel laureate Tawakkol Karman, and WHO Director‑General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, while participating in breakout sessions on topics ranging from AI and cancer disparities to polio eradication and gender equity. Beyond learning, fans mingled at the House of Friendship, enjoyed cultural showcases like Indigenous hoop dancing and rodeo demonstrations, and returned home energized to lead positive change locally and globally rotary.org.
